How-to video: Using the all-in-one podcasting application Audio Boo

Brief synopsis: Audio Boo, located at audioboo.fm, is an all-in-one podcasting, or audio sharing, application. Audio Boo users can record podcasts directly into Audio Boo's web-based library and/or upload audio files that have been created using another audio software program. Audio Boo then gives users the option of creating an RSS feed, so podcasts can be uploaded to iTunes, or users can share podcasts on Facebook, Twitter and other applications.

Benefits: Audio Boo is very easy to use. Its best feature may be its simplicity. No separate recording software is necessary and no difficult-to-understand RSS convesion tools are required. Audio Boo will create an RSS feed for iTunes for the podcaster. Audio Boo stores your podcasts online and allows users to share either directly on the Audio Boo web site or upload podcasts to Facebook, Twitter and other social media. Podcasts can also be embedded onto wikis and blogs.

Drawbacks: Audio Boo does not appear to monitor the content of its podcasts, so some podcasts may be unsuitable for students.
